RULES for Maximum Learning in Ms. Blight’s 10th Grade English Classes

Hello! I hope you had a good summer. I am looking forward to each of you having a successful year. The following rules must be followed in order for you to get the most out of your class.

CLASS RULES
1) BE IN CLASS ON TIME.Three latenesses results in detention.
2) Get seated and start the drill immediately.
3) Show respect for others. Only one person speaks at a time
    during class discussions.

ROOM RULES TO KEEP YOUR ROOM NEAT AND CLEAN
1) No eating or drinking in class.
2) No toiletries or grooming in class.
3) Before you leave, please remove any trash,align your desks, and
    push in your chairs.
4) Trash should be deposited in the receptacle as you leave the
    class.
 
SCHOOL RULES
1) Homeroom students who arrive to first period after 7:30 must
    have a pass from the front attendance desk.
2) Three (3) unexcused absences result in failure for the term.
3) Six (6) excused absences result in failure for the term.
4) No hats or headgear are to be worn in class except for religious
   reasons.
5) Cell phones must be turned off and stored in your backpack or
    purse.
6) Any other electronic devices must be turned off and 
stored in
    your backpack or purse.
7) No eating or drinking in class.
8) Your Success Guide is to be brought to every class.Your
    passport in the guide is your pass.
